Mitra N Forouhar practices US Constitutional and civil rights law, and international human rights law.  She contributed to the development of the UN human rights norms for corporations, with special focus on ethical and legal complicity. Mitra served as advisor to the Ethics Committee of the Board of Directors of a Global Fortune 100 company on matters related to international public policy and human rights, and integration of human rights in challenging environments. Prior to that, she worked for an international firm and advised on a wide range of cutting edge legal matters involving harmonization of different legal systems, cross border litigation, international structured finance, and tax structuring of cross border mergers & acquisitions. Mitra has lived and worked on both sides of the Atlantic which has enriched her personally and professionally. Her clients include organizations and individuals located in the United States and Europe.  Mitra also holds a Master of Letters in Fine Arts and has active interest in the visual arts as well as architectural phenomenology.
